Received my table and eight chairs today Feb.15, 2010. Ordered on Jan. 30th. My furniture was ready to be delivered on the 4th of Feb., but Amazon had old contact info. and could not contact me. After that issue was taken care of we (Baltimore, Md.) was hit with over 50 inches of snow. So there were more delays. Overall, considering the situation beyond their( furniture company)control, I would have received my order very fast.(4 days) and in very good condition.:)

I ordered this table on Sunday, June 13th and received it on Monday, June 21st. It came earlier than expected!! We put together 6 of the chairs and it took about 2 hours to do this. The table only had to have the legs attached and that was easy. We left the other 2 chairs in the box because we really didn't need them right now. It's a nice table and I'm happy with it....no reason to send it back. There are a couple of tiny places on the chairs and table that need touch up. I'm sure a black marker will suffice, just haven't gotten around to doing it yet. There is a spot on the top of the table that is a little groove or scratched, a marker won't fix that because of the indention, but here again it wasn't worth sending it back. The next table could have been worse. I have looked at and shopped for enough furniture to know that nothing is perfect, and that all furniture is going to have some dings or scratches. It just depends on what you are willing to deal with. I am glad we ordered this table, you just cannot find a black dining set with this many chairs anywhere in my area. It was inevitable....we had to order off the internet. I am scared to do that lots of times, as I have had bad experiences in the past. This was a good experience for us and EXACTLY the table & chairs we wanted and needed! Really enjoy it!!

Item was received but took longer than originally quoted. I am very happy with the product. This set must be assembled. It took us about 2 hours. The stools are very sturdy and look great in our kitchen. One of the back support bars was off-centered. I called the company and they sent a replacement. Overall very happy with this set.

I bought this set through Amazon, paid $525 for the 9 piece set and $220 for shipping. The shipping was timely, though the box the table came in was smashed - looked at it with the UPS guy - seemed ok - signed for it - but then after opening all the boxes realized there were quite a few dings and scratches on the furniture - I took dated pictures and would have sent the table back for a replacement but realized the $220 shipping charges are non refundable and would had to have spend a fair amount to get another one (which who knows might be scratched as well...)
All in all though the furniture is as advertised, solid, good looking, and a good price for 9 pieces.
(Also - I use 2 stools at the counter and 6 at the table - all 8 chairs would not fit very well at the table...)
